"Gye Nyame" (pronounced JEH' nyah-may) explores the intentionality of creation and its resilient design as modeled through peoples of African descent, especially Black Americans. Directly translated, Gye Nyame means "except God," or “God is Supreme” as in our existence and persistence are a direct result of intentionality on the part of our Creator. It is through visual reminders of our intentional existence that we can continue creating spaces of belonging in every area of their lives.
